What is WP Care Evergreen?

WP Care Evergreen is a website refresh plan from ALPHA V3. We rebuild your current website in WordPress with a modern, mobile-friendly design in 7 to 10 business days, keeping your content, pages and web addresses. We then host and maintain it on our servers in Canada and give it a new design every 12 months.

It costs $100 to set up and $200 a month on a 3-year term, with hosting and maintenance included. It sits between a WP Care maintenance plan and a full website redesign: a current site in days, for a fraction of a redesign's cost.

Most full redesigns take 4 to 8 weeks. Evergreen gives your current site a modern design in 7 to 10 business days, built on a private staging site while your current site stays live.

Your content and web addresses carry over

We keep your existing content, pages and web addresses, and set up redirects wherever an address has to change, so links and bookmarks keep working.

A new design every year

Every 12 months we refresh the design again, so the site keeps looking current instead of slowly going stale.

One monthly price

Hosting on our Canadian servers, daily backups, security, malware scanning and controlled updates are all part of the $200 a month.

The 7 to 10 business days run from when your agreement is signed and accepted. If we don't already manage your domain's DNS, we'll need access to it to launch.

Pricing covers most small business websites; we confirm what is included when we review your site, before you sign. Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include applicable taxes. The setup fee is invoiced on approval and monthly billing starts when your new site launches. Plans run for a 3-year term from launch. Full terms are in section 4.11 of our Terms of Use.

How long does it take to get the new design?

Yes. We rebuild it in WordPress, including sites on custom PHP, old site builders and old WordPress themes.

Will my web addresses change?

We keep your existing pages and web addresses. Where an address does have to change, we set up a redirect so links and bookmarks keep working. Google Analytics and Search Console are set up at launch.

What happens every 12 months?

We give your site a new design refresh. Hosting, backups, security and updates carry on as normal through the year.

Is support included?

Support time is available as an add-on: 30 minutes of support a month for $50 a month, which does not carry over. Without the add-on, support is billed at $37.50 per 15 minutes, with a 15 minute minimum.

Can you add new pages or write new content?

Yes, quoted separately. New copywriting, new pages and new photography are not part of the plan. Ecommerce, memberships and integrations are scoped separately.

Where is my website hosted?

On our own servers in Canada, primarily located in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Is there a limit on the size of my website?

Pricing covers most small business websites. Size and complexity vary, so we confirm what is included when we review your site, before you sign. Sites that are larger or more complex are quoted separately.

How much hosting space is included?

3GB. Additional space is $8.33 a month per GB, up to 10GB.

Who owns the website?

Once all fees for your plan are paid in full, the website and its content are yours. Our premium theme and plugin licences and the plugins we use for maintenance and support stay with us.

Do you work with businesses outside Vancouver Island?

Yes. We are based in Nanaimo and work remotely with businesses across British Columbia, Western Canada and select U.S. regions.
