WordPress Website Rebuild
A WordPress rebuild for a self-storage business with two facilities on mid-Vancouver Island, bringing both locations under one name and giving each one its own page, its own rates, and its own structured data.
Supreme Self Storage runs two storage facilities on mid-Vancouver Island, one in South Nanaimo and one in Ladysmith, each with its own unit sizes, rates, and RV and boat storage.
A rebuilt WordPress website with a page for each location, published rates, RV and boat storage, moving supplies, a FAQ, an online enquiry form, and structured data for both facilities.
Let visitors pick the right location, see what it offers and what it costs, and ask about a unit without having to call first.
The previous website was about eight years old and ran under the Vancouver Island Self Storage name, with the Ladysmith facility known as Junction Mini Storage. The Ladysmith name appeared in more than one form across the site, which made it harder for visitors and search engines to tell what the business was called and how the two facilities related.
Most of the practical questions people ask before renting a unit could only be answered by calling. Rates were not published, there was no online enquiry form, RV and boat storage had no page of its own, and there was no FAQ.
The rebuild started with an audit of the existing site. Wireframes carrying the page content and the published rates were reviewed and approved by the client before design began, followed by design mockups and the build in WordPress and Divi.
The home page introduces the business and both facilities, then sends visitors to the location that suits them. Each location page acts as the home page for that facility, with its storage options, rates, security features, U-Haul dealer details, address and phone number, and location-specific FAQs.
Supporting pages cover RV and boat storage at both locations, moving supplies, how self storage works, general FAQs, and contact. A Get a Quote button sits in the main navigation, alongside the online enquiry form.
Nanaimo and Ladysmith offer different unit types, different RV and boat stall sizes, and different rates, so each location's details live on that location's own page rather than in shared tables.
Every rate table carries a caption naming the location and its street address. The Rates page and the RV and Boat Storage page send visitors to the right location's rates instead of carrying tables of their own.
Each location page also carries its own SelfStorage structured data, with that facility's name, address, phone number, hours, and page address, so search engines and AI answer tools are given one clear record per facility.
